CPAP clinician/clinic manager, Calgary Alberta

IMMEDIATE OPENING: RESTAssure Inc., a leading provider of respiratory home care service in NW Calgary, is seeking a full time RT/RN/RPSGT to manage and run the CPAP clinic in our busy and growing practice.
The individual must be polite, warm and friendly to our patients with a professional appearance and demeanor.
A minimum of 2 years experience in a sleep lab and/or CPAP clinic, as well as experience with various CPAP systems is required.
Knowledge of the Alberta healthcare system and independant insurance billing practices is an asset.

Duties include:
- Giving personalized and professional advice, information and consultation to our clients regarding RESTAssure's CPAP equipment and services
- Coordinating and managing clients referred to the CPAP program including assessment, set-up/education and treatment plans
- Performing ongoing training and education sessions for staff
- Communicating with medical partners via phone/email/fax, preparing and faxing medical documents/letters
- Organizing/updating all patient records and filing systems
- Complying with all health and safety regulations
- Taking care of all inventory needs
- Knowledge of spirometry and home oxygen is an asset

You should be able to multi-task, be a team player and be able to work effectively without supervision. You must have a current Alberta professional license, in good standing, with your respective college. Computer experience (including work with Office, EMR/ERP systems, email) is a must.

-Performs overnight sleep studies which will aid in the diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders which may include oxygen, CPAP, BiPAP and ACS2 titrations
-Responsible for the preparation of clients for overnight monitoring and collection of date on computer
-Analyzes and scores sleep studies, generates summary reports, performs data management tasks as needed
-Ensures and monitors a safe working environment in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act
-Ensures area resuscitation equipment is complete and operational
-Maintains education qualification for the provision of Polysomnographic skills and to comply with the new continuing educational requirements of the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists
